A recent change in SourceForge's acceptable license policy has forced us to relocate the OpenMotif source code repository back to the MotifZone.

Its new location is cvs.openmotif.org, featuring anonymous read-only access and SSH-key
write access.

Your account will require an SSH key for access.  Please refer to the
directions at http://cvs.openmotif.org/

OpenMotif 2.3.2 is Now Available for download.
Open Motif 2.3.2 is an updated version of Open Motif 2.3.
Any applications built against a previous 2.x release of Open Motif will be binary compatible with this release.

The Open Motif Development Team (OMDT) is proud to announce that the Open Motif CVS Tree will now be hosted by SourceForge.net. By moving to SourceForge, the world’s largest Open Source software development site, the OPDT hopes to encourage broader participation in the Open Motif project. The MotifZone will still be used for bug reports, Open Motif release downloads, and discussion forums.

Open Source Development Produces Major Release with New Features and Over 25 Bug Fixes
Bedford, Mass. - June 7, 2007 - The OpenMotif Project Team announced today the release of OpenMotif 2.3, marking the most significant version of OpenMotif since it was released to the open source community in May 2000.

libXpm exploit affects OpenMotif - Updates Available & Advised
The MotifZone has been made aware of a security vulnerability in libXpm, the X Pixmap library which is shipped as part of the X Window System and has been incorporated in the Motif source code as far back as Version 1.x. The library is used in many popular applications for image viewing and manipulation. Users of Motif (and OpenMotif) are advised to read below and to update all libraries affected by the flaw.
