MWM & virtual desktop [newbie]

Hi,

I have always wanted to have Motif, since I wanted to code an application I`m developing using the Motif widget set. I also love mwm, it goes with me. I even had fvwm2 configured to look lile mwm.

Anyway, how can I get fvwm2`s pager functionality (you know, multiple desktops)? Is that the same as virtual desktop mentioned in the docs? (btw, I couldn`t make that work (

WorkSpace Manager is not supported by Open Motif 2.1. It was a demo program available in 2.0. However, some functionality that it was dependent on was withdrawn, and so it will not work. 


There has been some comments on another mailing list that this capability might be released in the future. However, for now, people seem to be getting by using the multiple workspace management provided by Gnome. Make sure you look at some of the early comments in this forum (and the developer forum?) on getting Gnome working, it is not obvious...
